No, Maia's Pick contains no added flavourings. Its taste is entirely natural and is shaped solely by the tea plant, its origin, the harvest and the processing.

Why does Maia's Pick have a delicate umami note?

Its delicate umami note comes from the growing conditions in Hadong. Some of the tea plants grow under natural bamboo shade, which gives the tea a refined character. The leaves also come from a later plucking, which gives the tea a fuller and more robust flavour.

How is Maia's Pick processed?
