- 2 ripe mangoes
- 500 g yoghurt (natural or Greek, depending on preference)
- 200 ml milk or water
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional, depending on the sweetness of the mangoes)
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- A pinch of saffron (optional)
- Ice cubes as desired

Step-by-Step Guide to Making Mango Lassi
- Peel the mangoes and remove the flesh from the stone. Cut it into small pieces.
- If using saffron, soak the threads in 2 tablespoons of warm milk for a few minutes.
- Place the mango pieces in a blender with the yoghurt, milk or water, and, if desired, the sugar or honey.
- Blend on high until no pieces remain and you have a smooth mixture.
- Add the ground cardamom and the soaked saffron and blend briefly again.
- Pour the finished Mango Lassi into glasses, adding ice cubes if desired.
