You've never seen anything like this! Our fruity-spicy blend of apple, cinnamon, and cardamom offers not only warming moments but also a stunning visual delight: the apple rose gracefully blossoms in the hot tea, captivating in the glass. You can easily prepare this at home too! Are you ready for a wintry adventure with fruity apple notes?
Ingredients (for 1 glass, approx. 250 ml)
- 4 g (≈ 3 tsp) fruit and white tea blend with apple, cinnamon & cardamom
- 250 ml water (90 °C / 194 °F)
- 1 fresh apple
- A little sugar or cane sugar
Preparation
- Halve the apple and slice it into very thin pieces.
- Sprinkle with sugar or cane sugar and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours, preferably overnight.
- Brew 4 g of the tea blend with 250 ml of hot water (90 °C / 194 °F) and steep for 2:30 minutes.
- Arrange the apple slices half-overlapping and roll them up until a rose shape forms (approx. 12–16 slices, depending on glass size).
- Carefully place the apple rose into a heatproof cup or glass.
- Pour the freshly brewed tea over the apple rose.
Tip: The apple rose gently unfurls in the hot tea – a beautiful visual highlight that looks especially stunning in glassware.
